Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Your project matters to us. So does the information you share.

This Privacy Policy explains how Perez Engineering Group, Inc. ("PEG," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information through perezengr.com and related project inquiries, meeting requests and qualifications requests. Our website introduces our civil, structural and traffic engineering services in California and Texas. A separate services agreement may govern information handled during an active engagement.

Information you provide

Depending on how you contact us, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and, where relevant, your firm or organization.
  • Project details, such as the requested services, project type, approximate size, city or ZIP code, state, timing and your message.
  • Information about a teaming or proposal opportunity, including the requested engineering support, deadline and any public request-for-qualifications link you choose to provide.
  • Appointment details and correspondence, including documents or photographs you choose to send us directly.

Please share only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not use an initial website inquiry to send Social Security numbers, payment-card details, passwords or other sensitive personal information. Share information about another person only when you are authorized to do so.

Information collected when you visit

Our website and service providers may receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page and access time.

The website stores your selected light or dark appearance preference in your browser's local storage. You can return to System mode or clear your browser's site data to remove that preference. Your browser settings can also limit cookies, although some third-party features may work differently when cookies are blocked.

Website hosting, fonts and map resources can involve requests to third-party servers. Those providers receive technical information associated with the request. When you follow a Google booking or directions link, or a LinkedIn or Instagram link, the destination service handles information under its own privacy policy and account settings. Those providers may collect information about your activity across other websites or services.

PEG does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels to track visitors across unrelated websites. Our website does not currently change its behavior in response to the older browser Do Not Track signal. Where applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will honor it for the processing to which that requirement applies.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to questions and understand the engineering services you need.
  • Review project scope, prepare preliminary estimates or proposals, and follow up about your request.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Evaluate teaming invitations and requests for professional qualifications.
  • Maintain relevant business records, operate and protect our website, prevent misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations.

An inquiry is not a subscription to unrelated marketing. If we later offer optional marketing messages, we will provide a way to decline or unsubscribe.

Estimates and qualifications

Project inquiries and quote details are not published as website content. Preliminary pricing is communicated privately by email. PEG's principal engineer may be visibly copied so you can continue the conversation using Reply all. An initial estimate is not a signed services agreement or a guarantee of scope, final fees or approval by a permitting agency.

Qualifications requests are reviewed by PEG. Requesting qualifications does not automatically release our firm statement of qualifications or a résumé, or authorize you to include PEG in a proposal. Delivery of these documents requires the principal engineer's approval. We do not offer an instant public download through this request process.

How information is shared

We share information with PEG personnel who need it to respond to your request and with service providers that support website hosting and forms, business email, scheduling, document storage and security. For example, Webflow supports our website and native forms; Google Workspace supports our business email and Google Calendar supports appointment scheduling. A native website form submission may be stored in Webflow and included in an internal email notification to PEG.

When needed for an engagement, information may also be shared with project participants, reviewing agencies or professional advisers for the work you have requested or authorized. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect rights, safety and security. We do not provide inquiry lists to third parties for their independent marketing.

Portfolio and project map

Our project map displays approximate regional locations, not individual property addresses or identifiable project details. Information you submit in an inquiry is not automatically added to the public map or portfolio. Public project content is selected separately; contact us if you have a concern about a project shown on the site.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Relevant factors include whether an inquiry becomes an engagement, continuing correspondence, contractual and professional obligations, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and the need to address disputes or legal claims. Records for an active or completed engagement may need to be retained longer than an initial inquiry.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website, storage system or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. If confidential project material requires a more secure exchange, contact us before sending it. PEG and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us at contact@perezengr.com to ask about the information you have provided, request access or a correction, request deletion, or ask us to stop optional communications. Depending on your location and the laws that apply to PEG and the information, additional privacy rights may be available, including receiving a copy of your information or appealing a decision about a request.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized representative's authority. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any limits, such as information we must retain for legal or professional reasons. To request reconsideration of a decision, reply to our response or email us with the subject "Privacy appeal." We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Children

Our website is intended for people seeking professional engineering services, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Changes and contact

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. For a material change, we will also provide a prominent website notice or direct notice when appropriate or required by law.
